After leaving a very wet Holland, we arrived in Normandy for an overnight stay in this lovely chateau just outside Alencon. Wonderful experience!
I'm a mom to a five-year old little girl with interest in cooking, baking, traveling and photography. Castles and palaces are special favorites so when weather permits for a good walk on weekends, me, hubby and little girl are always out for a bit of adventure.

It looks beautiful. My daughter was visiting the seashore of the Netherlands with her host family from Germany. They stayed in a castle turned hostel. That looked beautiful, too.

Just been following the Tour de France and its been marvellous seeing all those beautiful chateaus. This one looks wonderful and must have been quite something to stay in it. Look forward to your posts on the holiday.

I was in Holland from June 18th until June 28th. We had wind and rain and it never got above 70. I had such a wonderful time visiting because it kept me out of the excruciating heat New England was having!
Holland is my ancestral homeland would love to visit there one day. A friend of mine was just at the Bierkreek Rose Festival and also visited The Hauge rose trials.
